PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Ruiz (ranked 6518 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deklek Sitsongrit (ranked 6474 p4p, 0 weight class). Sitsongrit has chosen "Domesticated Animals", from Queens Of The Stone Age's new album Villains as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit lands a jab to Ruiz's midsection.
Ruiz misses with a head kick.
Sitsongrit defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ruiz.
Sitsongrit works the jab nicely.
Ruiz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sitsongrit counters with a thumping low kick.
Ruiz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Ruiz on the wrong end of a nice jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ruiz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sitsongrit connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ruiz scrambles back to his feet.

Ruiz is rocked!

Ruiz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sitsongrit sprawls well initially but Ruiz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Oh Ruiz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ruiz is controlling the pace.
Ruiz seems to have got his legs back now.
Ruiz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sitsongrit trying to get back to full guard but Ruiz takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Sitsongrit looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Ruiz has good solid back control here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ruiz has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Sitsongrit is defending well but eventually Ruiz manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Sitsongrit has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
