Bear comes to the cage accompanied by Good Times. Agaev has chosen Slavsia, Rus! as his entrance music. Tural Agaev has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jer Bear's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tural Agaev!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear throws a looping overhand right but Agaev ducks down to avoid it.
Agaev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bear half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bear throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Agaev's head.


It looks like Tural Agaev has been cut.

Bear clinches.
Agaev pushes Bear back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bear trying to land knees to the body.
Bear lands a left hand.
Agaev tries to work over Bear's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bear tries for a takedown. No joy.
Agaev scores with a nice hook to the head.
Agaev keeps control of Bear as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bear blocks a body shot from Agaev.
Bear lands a nice uppercut.

Agaev misses with a short punch on the inside.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Agaev tries to throw a body punch but Bear avoids it by throwing Agaev back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bear has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Agaev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bear.

Bear tries to clinch up but Agaev circles away and keeps his distance.

Bear tries for a takedown but Agaev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Agaev on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Agaev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Jer Bear has been cut.
Bear wants to clinch.
Agaev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bear is looking to counter the offense by Agaev and move into the clinch.
Bear closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Agaev to counter with a crisp jab.
Jer Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bear avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bear throws a jab when Agaev was well out of range.
Agaev takes one to the chin there.
Bear has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Bear throws a good cross that connects.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Agaev circles away from the clinch attempt.

Agaev throws a hook but Bear avoids it easily.
Decent striking displayed by Bear there.

Bear connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Agaev momentarily.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch but Agaev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Agaev avoids the head kick by Bear.

Bear backing away here, and Agaev unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Bear looks to land a left hand but Agaev moved out of range nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bear is defended easily by Agaev.
Agaev only half commits to the counter leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jer Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bear pushes Agaev up against the cage in a clinch.

Agaev slows down the pace here.
Agaev makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Agaev just leaning against Bear, taking a breather.
Agaev pushes Bear back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


Jer Bear's cut is getting worse.
Agaev misses with a hook from the clinch.
Agaev blocks an elbow strike from Bear.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Agaev.
Agaev lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bear backwards.
Agaev blocks an uppercut.
Bear lands a nice elbow.
Bear blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Agaev softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Agaev scores with a nice short uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tural Agaev will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Agaev finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Agaev throws a wild body kick that Bear sees coming a mile off.
Bear rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Agaev counters with a nice right hand that sends Bear toppling to the canvas! Bear scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Agaev finish him?!


Bear is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Agaev engages and cracks Bear with a massive lead left hook - Bear tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Agaev is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tural Agaev!
Tural Agaev seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
