Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edu Hase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Jaa!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jaa throws a body shot but no joy.
Hase went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jaa throws an off balance right hand
and Hase counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jaa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hase.
Jaa misses with a hook
letting Hase counter with a right hand.
Hase throws out a powerful jab.
Jaa throws a series of punches but Hase avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hase moves into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jaa.

Jaa dives in and grabs Hase's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hase pushes down on Jaa's head and hops out.
Hase scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jaa misses with the combination.
As Jaa tries to get set, Hase tries to push him back and clinch up but Jaa manages to avoid the attempt.
Jaa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hase misses with an uppercut. Jaa saw that one coming.
Jaa throws out a counter right but Hase avoids it with no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hase attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Jaa darts in looking for a takedown but Hase gets double underhooks and turns Jaa into the cage.
Jaa scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jaa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hase was well out of range. Poor timing from Jaa.
Hase is looking to counter the offense by Jaa and move into the clinch.
The fighters circling - Jaa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hase tries to land a front kick but Jaa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A big left from Jaa misses.
Jaa misses with a double jab.

Hase has managed to clinch.
Hase throws a punch but it's blocked by Jaa.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hase creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hase pushes Jaa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jaa misses with a punch to the body.
Jaa tries to work over Hase's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hase is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Edu Hase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Jaa.
Jaa is trying to force a seperation but Hase has the dominant position.
Hase prevents the takedown attempt.
Jaa misses with a punch to the body.
Jaa lands with a light punch inside.
Jaa doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hase stalling.
Jaa wants to take the fight to the mat but Hase manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Jaa lands a hook that snaps the head of Hase backwards.
Jaa tries to throw a body punch but Hase avoids it by throwing Jaa back against the cage.
Hase makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A short uppercut from Hase.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hase escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hase takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jaa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jaa takes a swing at Hase's ribcage but misses.
Jaa misses with a hook to the body
and Jaa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jaa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jaa looks to land a left hand but Hase moved out of range nicely.
Hase was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Hase keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Edu Hase will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hase stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hase wants it to stay on the feet.
Hase was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A slow jab from Jaa misses its intended target.

Hase is pushing Jaa's head away, looking to escape. Jaa manages to hold on to the position though.
Jaa lands a nice forearm strike.
Hase is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
