The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coulter looks to throw a body kick

and Pruitt counters by moving into the clinch.

Pruitt breaks from the clinch.
Pruitt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Coulter pinned against the cage. Coulter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Coulter misses with the combination.
Coulter throws a right and a left that Pruitt avoids nicely.
Coulter lands a right hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pruitt doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pruitt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Coulter feints with a jab and clips Pruitt right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Pruitt is sent crashing into the canvas and Coulter leaps in for the kill! Pruitt tries to get to his feet but Coulter is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Pruitt is in need of a savior and steps in!
