The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes one on the button.
It looks like Secco Jones has been cut.
Smith misses with a hook.
Smith catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Jones stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Jones walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Smith clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the ropes.
Jones lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are calling 'kneeees!' as Smith has the Thai clinch. Smith obliges, smashing a knee brutally into Jones's nose and sending him crashing to the canvas! Will be beat the count?! 3,4,5,6,7,8...9... and he's up on 9! Wow, that was close! The referee takes a long look and is going to allow it to continue!
Jones is rocked!
Smith feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Jones collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Duncan Smith!
After winning the bout, Duncan Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
