It looked like Henley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Van Gaal felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Henley swings around for an armbar but Van Gaal sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Henley's guard.

Van Gaal is fighting to break Henley's control of his arms but Henley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
