Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 3006 p4p, 375 weight class) and John Dux (ranked 3350 p4p, 406 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Durant is pressed up against the cage. Dux has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Durant down to the mat. Durant avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

I was talking to Durant's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Dux is looking for a kimura but Durant is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dux to get the leverage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Durant has his foot on Dux's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dux works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Durant will probably get the nod.

Kevin Durant really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sully's Bar & Grill logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
