Williams's entrance music is Dr. Octagon - Earth People. A fine choice. Weatherspoon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Triumph by: Wu Tang Clan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weatherspoon wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance.

and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Weatherspoon thinking.

and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Weatherspoon dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Weatherspoon's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
