Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monroe Miranda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brexton moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Monroe Miranda has been cut.
Brexton dives in for a single leg takedown but Miranda sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Brexton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miranda as he avoids it easily.
Brexton closes the distance and clinches.
Brexton's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Brexton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miranda pulls his leg out and moves away.
Monroe Miranda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Brexton.

Brexton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Miranda decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Miranda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brexton's waist but Brexton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miranda off to one side.
Brexton throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Miranda shoots in looking for a takedown but Brexton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miranda's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

I would just about give that final round to Chase Brexton.
