Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Dillon (ranked 2441 p4p, 373 weight class) and Schlink Jang (ranked 3509 p4p, 472 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Schlink Jang!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jang tries to bum rush Dillon with a series of wild strikes but Dillon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dillon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dillon lands a two punch combo.
Dillon throws a nice looking combination but Jang bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dillon cracks Jang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dillon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dillon misses with a right hand
and Jang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jang throws a right hand that Dillon ducks under and follows up with a left that Dillon also avoids with ease.
Dillon looks to land a combination but Jang avoids it well.
Jang connects with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dillon closes the distance and clinches up with Jang, looking for a takedown. Dillon pushes Jang against the cage but Jang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dillon uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jang has time to react.
Dennis Dillon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dillon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dillon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jang is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Dillon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jang.
Jang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dillon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dillon throws a right hand that Jang ducks under and follows up with a left that Jang also avoids with ease.
A little jabbing left from Jang on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nice defenses there by Jang.
Jang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dillon lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dillon.
Jab, jab by Jang - just one landing.

Dillon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jang looks to land a left hand but Dillon moved out of range nicely.
Dillon attempts a counter takedown but Jang avoids it well and moves away.
Jang throws a nice looking combination but Dillon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jang bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jang throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jang misses with a wild body shot.
Jang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jang! But no joy.
Dillon takes one to the chin there.
Dillon fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dillon circles away quickly and effectively.

Jang slips under a jab from Dillon.
Dillon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jang but Jang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jang has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jang is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dillon.
Dillon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jang is fending him off so far but Dillon persists. Nope, Jang circles away and we're back to standing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jang! But no joy.
Jang slaps away a takedown attempt from Dillon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jang throws a body shot but no joy.
Dillon swinging wildly here.

No luck for Dillon with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Jang misses the target.
Dillon tries to counter with a takedown but Jang is quick to defend against it.
Jang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dillon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A nice combination there by Jang.
Dillon misses with a looping left.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dillon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jang misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Schlink Jang dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Jang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jang scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dillon ducks under a wild hook from Jang.
Jang takes one to the side of the head.
Jang takes a swing at Dillon's ribcage but misses.
Jang swings for the body but Dillon moves out of range.
Jang throws a nice looking combination but Dillon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jang lands with a nice combination. Dillon backs away looking to recover.
A big left from Dillon misses.
Jang throws a counter combo.
Dillon misses with an uppercut
and Jang counters with a three punch combo that has Dillon backing up. Dillon nods at Jang to acknowledge the strikes.

Jang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dillon circles away quickly and effectively.
Jang misses with a looping right.
Dillon misses with a hook.
Jang throws a counter combo.
Dennis Dillon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jang slips a straight right by Dillon.
Dillon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dillon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dillon connects with a looping right hand.
Dillon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Jang on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jang throws a combination that misses

and Dillon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jang's guard.

Dillon landing some decent shots from guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jang looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dillon is one step ahead there.
Jang has momentary wrist control but Dillon slips an elbow through the middle.
Dillon with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dillon preventing the sweep.
Dillon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dillon scoring with punches to the head and body.
Dillon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Dillon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dillon.
Jang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dillon works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jang is concentrating on defense, preventing Dillon from advancing position.

Dillon working over Jang with some ground and pound. Jang looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Dillon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dillon is looking for a kimura but Jang is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dillon to get the leverage.
Dillon prevents Jang from standing back up.
Dillon drops an elbow to the side of Jang's head.

Jang is rocked!
Dillon lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Jang quite badly. Jang pulls Dillon in close trying to recover. Dillon postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Jang on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Jang doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Dillon!
