Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Touko Pouko (ranked 1565 p4p, 78 weight class) and Liquid Gold (ranked 1117 p4p, 57 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Pouko connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gold some visible discomfort.

Pouko is looking to advance position but Gold won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pouko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gold defends it well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pouko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gold has managed to free his arm - good work.

That was a close round but I would say that Touko Pouko will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gold lands an uppercut, right on the button! Pouko tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
