Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyber Bully (ranked 21269 p4p, 960 weight class) and Hwai Ja (ranked 2234 p4p, 346 weight class). Cyber Bully has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cyber Bully!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hwai Ja!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Ja.
Ja moves out of range as Bully strikes.
Ja thumps Bully with a low kick.
Bully throws a leg kick that misses.
Bully lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ja throws a hook but Bully avoids it easily.

Bully shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Bully trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Ja is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bully is aware though and is defending well.
Ja is trying to control the position but Bully postures up.
Bully trying to control but Ja is working from the bottom.
Bully postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bully has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bully stands and throws Ja's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Ja is not content to let Bully control the position.
Bully scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ja to see if he's OK.

Bully wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ja, who protects the arm well.

Bully thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ja is looking for a sweep.

Ja wants to control but Bully is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Ja is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bully pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bully wants to take a breather but Ja is having none of it.
Bully has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ja regains half guard.

Ja taking some punishment here, with Bully in his half guard.

Bully seems to be working for a kimura but Ja defends the submission attempt.
Ja trying to hold on to Bully's head to control him but Bully postures up.
Bully slips a nice elbow through Ja's hands, connecting with Ja's forehead.
Bully is looking to advance position but Ja won't allow it.

Ja looking for submissions off his back.
Bully is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Ja trying to control but Bully postures up.
Bully lands with a punch from half guard.

Ja actively working from the bottom here.
Bully looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ja with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bully with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bully is keen to just control but Ja is a slippery customer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bully controlling the action here.
Bully is trying to control the action in half guard but Ja is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cyber Bully dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bully tries to move into range but Ja moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bully is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ja can do to turn this around?
Bully throws a lazy uppercut
and Ja counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bully finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bully.
Bully tries to move into range but Ja moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bully wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ja tries to close the distance and clinch but Bully swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bully is defended easily by Ja.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bully throws a right hand that misses
enabling Ja to counter with a crisp jab.
Bully throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ja lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bully shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Bully shoots in and gets a takedown into Ja's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bully wants to control from the top but Ja keeps moving.

Bully got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ja has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bully has managed to get both his arms back between Ja's legs - danger averted.
Ja wants to improve his position but instead Bully has moved into half guard.
Ja is not content to let Bully control the position.
Ja is looking for a sweep. Bully is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ja wants to control but Bully is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Ja looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ja trying to hold on to Bully's head to control him but Bully postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ja is controlling Bully's trapped leg to prevent Bully from advancing to side control.

Ja looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bully wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ja keeps working.
Bully lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ja tries to roll over but Bully keeps him under control.
Bully is nestled in close to Ja, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ja is looking to improve his position.
Bully is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ja wants to hold on but Bully pushes him away.
Ja can't escape the position.
Ja is still trying to improve position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ja tries to hold on but Bully postures up.
Bully lands with some strikes.
Cyber Bully overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bully putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Ja takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


Ja is rocked!
Ja working to try and regain half guard.
Ja is still in real trouble! Can Bully finish him?
Bully trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ja tries to hold on but Bully pushes him away.
Bully landing strikes from the mount and Ja is in trouble!

Bully looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Bully avoids the attempt from Ja to control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bully with good strikes from the mount here!
Bully postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ja in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ja to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cyber Bully!
