Bartlett comes into the arena with KEN mode - Counter Culture Complex blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Donnie Jones enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bartletts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bartlett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Bartlett lands a lovely overhand right.
Jones tries to clinch up.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Jones works Bartlett's body with a nice hook.

Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jones struggles to land a body shot inside as Bartlett controls his hands.
A nice right hand lands inside from Jones.
Jones blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bartlett is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jones is keeping busy.
A left hand lands to the body for Bartlett.
I was talking to Bartlett's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bartlett breaks from the clinch.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bartlett backs up against the ropes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bartlett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Bartlett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

A punch lands to the side of Bartlett 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bartlett throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Jones chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bartlett can pounce on him.
Jones misses with a hook to the body
and Bartlett makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jones checks a leg kick nicely.
Bartlett on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bartlett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Jones misses with a looping right.
Bartlett cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bartlett sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Bartlett.

Jones looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bartlett lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jones. Bartlett pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
