The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams stalks Farfan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Farfan's face. Farfan staggers backwards, shaken.
Adams feints a jab promting Farfan to slip. Adams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Farfan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Adams drives through with a takedown into Farfan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Adams gets to his feet. Farfan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Adams lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Farfan misses with a knee to the head.
Farfan controlling the action here for a moment.

Farfan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Farfan's coach down at Play House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Farfan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Adams scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Farfan rushes Adams and presses him up against the cage.
Farfan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Adams avoids it.

Farfan moves into range and clinches up with Adams.

Adams is trying to break the clinch but Farfan has him pressed against the cage.
Adams has had enough of the clinch but Farfan keeps him there for the moment.

Farfan drops Adams with a big knee straight up the middle! Adams is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
