Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Razza Matazz (ranked 4075 p4p, 487 weight class) and John Puller (ranked 2649 p4p, 340 weight class). Matazz comes to the cage accompanied by Tool - Eulogy. John Puller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Razza Matazz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Puller!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puller checks a low kick from Matazz.
A chopping leg kick lands by Puller.
Matazz blocks a low kick nicely.
Matazz tried to counter with a leg kick but Puller avoided it.
Puller takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Matazz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Matazz throws a lazy head kick
and Puller counters with a nice uppercut.
A swing and a miss from Matazz.
Razza Matazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Matazz doesn't seem bothered though.
Matazz takes a jab right on the kisser.

Matazz is rocked!
Matazz misses with an uppercut. Puller saw that one coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matazz misses with a wild body shot.
Matazz scores with a nice head shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Matazz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Puller - the referee stops the clock and Matazz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Puller. Matazz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Matazz tries to land a leg kick but Puller saw it coming and moves away.

Puller throws a jab when Matazz was well out of range.
Matazz looks to throw the jab but Puller is out of range.
Matazz works over Puller's head and body with a nice combination.
Matazz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Puller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Matazz.

and Puller counters with a nice right hand that sends Matazz toppling to the canvas! Matazz scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Puller finish him?!
Oh Matazz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Puller counters with a huge right that knocks Matazz out cold! Puller is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

After the fight, John Puller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
