Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makhi Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Action Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Clark was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jackson wants to control but Clark postures up.
Clark will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jackson is trying to get back to his feet.

Jackson scores with a one two! Clark had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.

Jackson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's time! Clark's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Clark scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clark's waist but Clark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.

Jackson parries the strikes from Clark easily there. Clark is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jackson to escape.

The referee asks Clark politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Clark prefers to stall for the moment though.
