The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormick throws out a loose jab but Khajo uses good head movement to avoid it.
McCormick looks to land a left hand but Khajo moved out of range nicely.
McCormick throws a quick inside leg kick.
McCormick ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McCormick throws a hook but Khajo blocks it.
A little jabbing left from Khajo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from McCormick misses the target.
A shot to the body from McCormick misses
and Khajo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Khajo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Khajo sends McCormick crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Khajo is motioning to the referee to let McCormick up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Tata Khajo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
