The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagert keeps the fight on the outside.

Hagert has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Noye tries to clinch up but Hagert circles away and keeps his distance.

Noye tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hagert paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Donal Noye's cut is getting worse.

Noye is looking to clinch but Hagert is avoiding it.
Noye takes one on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hagert slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Noye is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Noye is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hagert throws out a counter right but Noye avoids it with no problem.

The fight stays on the outside here - Noye looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hagert was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Noye closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Noye with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hagert to score with a decent uppercut.
Noye wants to clinch up but Hagert keeps it at a distance.

Hagert drops Noye with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Noye looks back up at him and smiles so Hagert waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Oh Noye is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hagert fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hagert lands a big head kick that sends Noye to the canvas! Hagert follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
