Mahones comes to the cage accompanied by This Is My BOOMSTICK. Honda has chosen E. Honda Stage Theme Extended as his entrance music. Stones Mahones had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mahones pinned against the cage. Mahones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mahones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mahones throws a combination. Honda tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Edmond Honda has been cut.
Mahones lands with a hook. Honda tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Honda walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mahones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mahones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Honda looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Honda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mahones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Honda seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A very excited looking Edmond Honda rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
