The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watterson stuffs the takedown.
Watterson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Holmes.
Holmes looks for a takedown but Watterson sprawls well.
Watterson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Holmes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Watterson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Watterson lands a big uppercut and Holmes crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Holmes looks OK. Watterson waves Holmes back to his feet!

It looks like Andre Holmes has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Watterson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Holmess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Oh Holmes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Watterson connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Holmes out cold! This one is over in a flash!
