Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tap Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tap Out!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon ducks under a wild hook from Out.

Dixon rushes Out and presses him up against the cage.
Out jumps guard but Dixon stands there with Out around his waist. Out gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Out is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dixon pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Out tries to pull guard but Dixon holds him up against the cage and eventually Out drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tap Out. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dixon pulls guard successfully.
Out wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving.

Out drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dixon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dixon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dixon!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Out is looking to regain half guard here but Dixon keeps moving and retains side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dixon stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Out shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dixon but Dixon pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dixon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Out wants a takedown.
Dixon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Out tries to score a body lock takedown but Dixon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dixon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dixon works the jab nicely.
Out shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dixon moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dixon is struggling to control the position.
Out drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dixon pulls his leg out and moves away.

Dixon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Out was covering up waiting for the punch and Dixon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dixon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dixon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Out has his foot on Dixon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dixon works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Out looking to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Out can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dixon controls the pace.
Dixon stopping the sweep attempt from Out.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dixon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dixon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dixon stuffs the takedown attempt from Out. Out gets slowly back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Out shoots in for a takedown but Dixon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Out looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dixon appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Dixon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Out on his heels. He'll look to pass Out's guard now, I'm sure.
Dixon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dixon wants to pass the guard but Out is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adrian Dixon dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Dixon blocks a jab.

Dixon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Dixon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Out is trying to keep an underhook but Dixon manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Out is looking for a sweep. Dixon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dixon is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Out has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Dixon is in a lot of trouble! Out is straining to finish and he's done it! Dixon taps out! Amazing!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tap Out!
Tap Out decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
