Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Mosby (ranked 198 p4p, 26 weight class) and Musta Laine (ranked 195 p4p, 25 weight class). Laine has chosen Disturbed - Sound of Silence as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laine throws a right and a left that both miss.
Laine connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A jab from Laine finds it's way through Mosby's defenses.
Mosby throws a body punch but Laine moves out of range.
Laine misses with the body kick
and Mosby counters with a straight right hand.
Mosby avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Laine throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Laine takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Laine clobbers Mosby with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Some bone on bone action there as Mosby checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Laine swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mosby counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice uppercut lands for Laine. That snapped Mosby's head back.
Laine looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Laine misses with a low kick.
Mosby lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Laine at a distance.

and Mosby counters with a body kick.

Mosby connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mosby fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laine manages to avoid it.
Mosby avoids the head kick by Laine.
Mosby misses with an attempted mid kick.
Laine throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mosby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Laine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mosby slips under a jab.
Mosby half committed to a counter leg kick.
Good work by Mosby as he checks the leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mosby.
Laine misses with a double jab.
Mosby misses with a wild body shot.
Laine jabs Mosby right on the nose. Mosby blinks but takes it well.
Laine has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Mosby throws a shot to the body.
Laine walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Laine scores with the left hand. Mosby knows he should have avoided that one.
A low kick from Laine is predictable there
and Mosby counters with a series of strikes. Laine will be more careful next time no doubt.

Mosby ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mosby slips under a jab.
Laine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Laine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Laine is looking to clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Mosby on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Mosby counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Musta Laine has been cut.
Mosby connects with a looping right hand.
Laine thows a leg kick but Mosby checks it
and Mosby counters with a straight right hand.
Laine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mosby paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mosby uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Laine.
Mosby was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Laine cracks Mosby with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Mosby has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Mosby takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Laine comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Laine misses with a leg kick
and Mosby counters with a low kick, right behind Laine 's knee.
Laine falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Mosby to counter with a crisp jab.

and Mosby counters with a stiff right hand.

Laine is rocked!
Laine walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Mosby swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
