Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin has chosen Medicate - Flaw as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Dayley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Griffin has taken the fight to the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Griffin - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dayley can't break the clinch.
Dayley working hard to break the clinch.

Dayley manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Griffin scoring with punches to the head and body.

Griffin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dayley dives on top into guard.

Dayley trying to control but Griffin is working from the bottom.
Griffin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Griffin will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Dayley controls from within his opponent's guard.
Dayley stops Griffin from standing up.

Griffin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dayley passes Griffin's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Dayley is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Dayley trying to control the action but Griffin is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dayley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Griffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dayley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dayley prevents Griffin from improving his position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Griffin missing with punches from the bottom.
Dayley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Griffin has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Dayley escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Dayley!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Griffin pushes Dayley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dayley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Dayley wants to control but Griffin is keeping him busy.
Griffin wants to get back to his feet.
Griffin tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dayley presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Griffin gives up his back whilst trying to strike.

Griffin tries to escape the position.

Dayley has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Griffin is defending well but eventually Dayley manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Griffin has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
