The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Leonardo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dee defends well and Leonardo ends up having to push Dee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dee wants to counter with a clinch but Leonardo pushes him away.

We've been hearing reports that Leonardo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dee wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Leonardo has him pressed against the cage.

Leonardo is working to tighten his grip on Dee's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dee has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Leonardo is really squeezing tight and eventually Dee passes out! Leonardo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
