Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Evan Dworshak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Dukerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Dworshak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Dukerson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukerson is looking to clinch but Dworshak is avoiding it.
Dukerson darts in trying to clinch

and Dworshak counters with a takedown into side control.

Dworshak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dukerson is looking for a sweep.
Dukerson is not content to let Dworshak control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dworshak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dukerson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dukerson keeps trying to improve his position.
Dworshak is looking to take a break and control but Dukerson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dworshak is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dukerson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dworshak is working away from the top position though.

Dworshak is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dukerson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dukerson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Dworshak is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dukerson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That was a close round but I would say that Evan Dworshak will probably get the nod.

Dukerson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dworshak to the mat! Dworshak manages to get full guard.

Dukerson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dworshak is looking for a sweep. Dukerson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dukerson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dworshak is just riding it out for now. Dukerson eventually gives up the hold.
Dukerson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dukerson tries to pass to full mount but Dworshak defends it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dukerson just misses with a punch to the body.
Dworshak changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Dworshak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dukerson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dworshak somewhat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dukerson misses with a looping right.
Dworshak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dukerson defends it nicely.
Dworshak tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dukerson defends well and Dworshak ends up having to push Dukerson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And Dukerson tries to counter it with a takedown but Dworshak pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Dworshak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Dukerson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dworshak's guard.

Duke Dukerson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dworshak's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Dworshak fails with the takedown

Dworshak wants to get back to his feet but Dukerson is dominant here and he's now got Dworshak's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dukerson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Duke Dukerson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
