PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nisus Rondas (ranked 23034 p4p, 319 weight class) and Maurice Von Fenwa (ranked 22530 p4p, 137 weight class). Rondas comes to the ring accompanied by Avatar-Eagle has Landed. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Fenwa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rondas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rondas quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Von Fenwa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Von Fenwa throws an overhand right that lands on Rondas's shoulder, as Rondas tries to avoid the shot.
Rondas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close round but I would say that Nisus Rondas will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rondas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Von Fenwa takes a kick to the side of the head.

It seemed like Von Fenwa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rondas on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Von Fenwa! But no joy.
Nisus Rondas is winning the standup battle so far.
Rondas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Von Fenwa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Von Fenwa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rondas to score with a decent uppercut.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rondas.

Nisus Rondas dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Von Fenwa drops his hands momentarily and Rondas needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Von Fenwa just on the top of the head. Von Fenwa drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Von Fenwa - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nisus Rondas!
A relieved looking Nisus Rondas thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
