PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ling Manchu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volkov comes to the cage accompanied by Parkway Drive - Dark Days. Manchu has chosen Bodies as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that William Volkov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily William Volkov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Volkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 32 - 0, fighting out of London, Ling Manchu!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Volkov tries to avoid it but Manchu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Volkov to the ground. Volkov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Volkov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Volkov lands with a shot to the body.
Manchu looks winded!
Manchu looks up at the clock. Bad move! Volkov lands a right hand from hell, dropping Manchu. Volkov pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Volkov!
