Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kriang Sak Bangkok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cu Cuchulain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kriang Sak Bangkok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cu Cuchulain!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangkok gets cracked there but stands up to it.


It looks like Kriang Sak Bangkok has been cut.

Bangkok clinches.
Cuchulain looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bangkok pulls Cuchulain into guard.
Cuchulain is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Cuchulain stands up and waves to Bangkok to follow him.
Cuchulain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bangkok shoots and misses

and Cuchulain counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bangkok! Cuchulain lets Bangkok back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Bangkok could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cuchulain throws a series of punches but Bangkok avoids them all with ease.
Bangkok looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Cuchulain tries to close the distance and clinch but Bangkok swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bangkok wants to clinch.
Cuchulain tried to score with a low kick but Bangkok checks it.
Cuchulain tries to clinch there but Bangkok circles away.

Cuchulain rushes Bangkok and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bangkok's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Cuchulain working hard to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cuchulain wants to get back to striking at distance but Bangkok won't allow it.
Cuchulain wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cuchulain misses with a short punch on the inside.
Cuchulain swings wildly with an uppercut but Bangkok uses good head movement to avoid it.
A frustrated look appears on Cuchulain's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bangkok tries to pull guard but Cuchulain won't allow it.
Cuchulain is trying to break the clinch but Bangkok is controlling him.

Cuchulain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cuchulain stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kriang Sak Bangkok. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cuchulain comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bangkok is breathing heavily.

Cuchulain takes the fight into the clinch.
Bangkok keeps control of Cuchulain as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cuchulain tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bangkok just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bangkok tries to throw a body punch but Cuchulain avoids it by throwing Bangkok back against the cage.
Cuchulain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bangkok is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Cuchulain lands an uppercut.

Cuchulain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cuchulain dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A shot to the liver by Cuchulain. Beautiful body shot.
Cuchulain misses with a head kick.
Cuchulain pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bangkok tries to counter with a takedown but Cuchulain is quick to defend against it.
Cuchulain scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cuchulain throws a hook but Bangkok avoids it easily.

Cuchulain lands a left and a right that send Bangkok crashing to the mat, dazed. Cuchulain thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bangkok avoids the head kick by Cuchulain.

Cuchulain sends Bangkok crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cuchulain is motioning to the referee to let Bangkok up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Bangkok is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cuchulain fakes the body blow, causing Bangkok to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Bangkok goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cu Cuchulain!
