The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon lands with an overhand left.
Dixon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haller.
Dixon drops his hands momentarily and Haller takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Haller looks to land a left hand but Dixon moved out of range nicely.
Dixon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Train Right! in the buildup to the fight.
Haller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dixon moves away from the strike by Haller.
Dixon lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Haller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Haller fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dixon on the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Haller breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Dixon with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Dixon looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Dixon get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). David Haller! David Haller retains his bantamweight title!
David Haller decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
