Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hyryx Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauno Tynkkynen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Rattlesnake. Tynkkynen has chosen Cow herd - Fields as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hyryx Dall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rauno Tynkkynen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tynkkynen dodges the punch combination from Dall.
Tynkkynen moves in looking to clinch but Dall pushes him off.
Dall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Donk. Dall catches Tynkkynen right on the button with a cross.
Tynkkynen with a nice cross.


It looks like Hyryx Dall has been cut.
Dall motions for Tynkkynen to come forward. Dall throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dall connects with a body shot that sends Tynkkynen's belly button to the back.
Dall lands a slapping body shot.
Dall scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dall feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tynkkynen's calf.
Tynkkynen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dall fakes the leg kick and cracks Tynkkynen in the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tynkkynen clinches up with Dall and pushes him back against the cage.
Tynkkynen prevents Dall from breaking the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Dall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dall avoiding damage as Tynkkynen throws knees to the body.
A short left from Dall.
Dall will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tynkkynen up against the cage.
Dall lands a body shot.
Dall is pushing Tynkkynen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tynkkynen wants a takedown.
Tynkkynen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dall.

Dall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A swing and a miss from Dall.
A swing and a miss from Tynkkynen.
Tynkkynen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dall throws a sloppy head kick and Tynkkynen moves out of range easily.
Tynkkynen tries to clinch up.
Dall is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Tynkkynen clinches.
Tynkkynen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dall's elbow.
Dall lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tynkkynen backwards.

Dall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tynkkynen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dall throws a series of strikes that have Tynkkynen backpedaling.
Tynkkynen closes the distance but Dall moves to the side

and Dall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tynkkynen's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dall trying to control the position from guard on top but Tynkkynen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tynkkynen pushes a forearm under Dall's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dall is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rauno Tynkkynen!
After the fight, Rauno Tynkkynen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
