Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoni Koscielski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keimah Animai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koscielski comes into the arena with Bone Thugs n Harmony - Thuggish Ruggish Bone blaring out of the sound system. Animai is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rise - Flobots. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Antoni Koscielski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keimah Animai!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Koscielski misses the target.
Koscielski looks to throw the jab but Animai is out of range.
Animai slips under a jab.
Koscielski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Animai counters with a left to the body.
Animai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koscielski swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Koscielski tries to keep at a distance but Animai has taken the fight into the clinch.
Animai blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Animai lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Koscielski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Animai is looking to clinch.
Animai lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Antoni Koscielski has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Animai has closed the distance and engaged Koscielski in a clinch.
Koscielski misses with some punches.
Koscielski prevents the takedown attempt.
Koscielski trying to control the position but instead, Animai has worked for underhooks and has pushed Koscielski into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Animai has Koscielski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Koscielski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Animai throws a punch but it's blocked by Koscielski.
Animai dodges an elbow strike from Koscielski.
Animai is trying to drag Koscielski to the mat but Koscielski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Antoni Koscielski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keimah Animai.
Animai has Koscielski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Koscielski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Animai wants the takedown. Koscielski is fighting it off but Animai persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Koscielski's guard against the cage.
Koscielski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Koscielski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Animai is controlling him.

Koscielski wants to reverse the position here. Animai has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Koscielski is forced to tap! Koscielski looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Keimah Animai!
Keimah Animai decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
