Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sungwon Jung and Marco Macotti. Jung comes to the cage accompanied by Body Head Bangerz feat. Lil' Boosie & Young Bleed - I Smoke, I Drank. Macotti has chosen Drown - Theory of a Deadman as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Sungwon Jung! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 6 losses; Marco Macotti!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Jung gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Macotti has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jung avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Macotti wants to take the fight to the mat but Jung manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
I was talking to Jung's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Sungwon Jung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Macotti.
Macotti jumps guard and drags Jung to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jung seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Macotti for as long as he can get away with.
