Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Steel Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saiyan Southbrook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saiyan Southbrook told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Southbrook. Penn does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Penn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Penn is looking to score with low kicks.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Southbrook has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
