Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Magomedrasul Khasbulaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Star Dust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khasbulaev comes to the cage accompanied by Fetty Wap - Trap Queen. Dust has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Star Dust acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Magomedrasul Khasbulaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Dust!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khasbulaev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dust.
Khasbulaev throws a head kick but Dust moves out of range.
Dust takes a swing at Khasbulaev's ribcage but misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dust has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dust connects with an inside leg kick.
Khasbulaev throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dust is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Khasbulaev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dust throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Khasbulaev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Star Dust has been cut.

Dust closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dust lands in his opponent's guard.

Dust creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Khasbulaev sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
You can see the frustration on Khasbulaev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dust misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Dust swings around for an armbar but Khasbulaev sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dust's guard.
Star Dust has got the better of the ground game so far.

Dust working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Khasbulaev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khasbulaev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dust has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Khasbulaev is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dust.

Star Dust showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dust lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

I would just about give that final round to Star Dust.
Well Dust has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Star Dust rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
