Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raheem Nazir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frodo Pitlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitlik has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frodo Pitlik!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitlik gets caught flat footed, as Nazir shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Nazir stands up over Pitlik, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Nazir is pushing down on Pitlik's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pitlik is fighting to maintain full guard but Nazir has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nazir lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Nazir seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nazir working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Nazir looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pitlik with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Pitlik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nazir is trying to control the action in half guard but Pitlik is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's time! Nazir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pitlik gets caught napping as Nazir dives in and scores a takedown. Pitlik manages to retain guard.
Pitlik is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nazir defends well.
Nazir is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pitlik can do to turn this around?

Nazir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pitlik keeps working.
Nazir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pitlik has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pitlik is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
