Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Project Joshua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Numero Deux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Deux's choice of entrance music: Post Party Depression. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deux misses with a jab, cross combination.
Joshua circles away from the clinch attempt
and Joshua counters with a straight right hand.
Deux tries to close the distance and clinch but Joshua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Deux misses with a looping left.
Deux doesn't manage to clinch there - Joshua circles away.
Deux looks to land a combination but Joshua avoids it well.
Joshua avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A slow jab from Joshua misses its intended target.
Joshua misses with a low kick as Deux jumps back.
Joshua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Deux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Joshua uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Deux.
Deux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joshua swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Joshua walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deux punishes Joshua's body with a nice straight punch.

Deux cracks Joshua with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Deux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Joshua ducks right into an uppercut from Deux.
Deux misses with a double jab.
Deux thuds a left hand into Joshua's body.
Deux misses with a takedown attempt - Joshua sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Project Joshua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Numero Deux.
Joshua throws a series of punches but Deux avoids them all with ease.

Joshua drops Deux with a beautiful combination! Deux stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Joshua is looking for the KO!

Joshua sends Deux crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Joshua is motioning to the referee to let Deux up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Deux tries to close the distance and clinch but Joshua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Deux is still on wobbly legs! Can Joshua finish him?

and Joshua scores with a counter punch that sends Deux to the canvas! Joshua smells blood - he's punishing Deux with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Deux has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
