Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Star Dust and Eli Armis. Dust comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Armis has chosen Mortal Kombat Theme as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Star Dust! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 6 losses; Eli Armis!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Armis takes the fight into the clinch.
Armis jumps guard but Dust turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Dust gets control of Armis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dust will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Dust has his foot on Armis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Armis works his way back into a safe position though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Armis trying to control the action but Dust is working from the bottom.

Dust is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Cozad MMA LA Elite, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Dust has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Armis working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Dust turns into Armis and is now in his guard.

Dust looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Dust stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Armis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
