Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannes Haades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haades has chosen Accept - Head Over Heels as his entrance music. Jiu Jitsu had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Jiu Jitsu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hannes Haades!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jitsu moves away from the strike by Haades.
Jitsu feinted with a counter takedown.
Jitsu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Haades leaves Jitsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haades with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jitsu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Jitsu doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Haades holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hannes Haades is the new light heavyweight champion!
Hannes Haades decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
