Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Knyaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Knyaz misses.
Adams tries to clinch there but Knyaz circles away.
Knyaz seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Knyaz drops his shoulder and cracks Adams with a huge uppercut! Adams goes down! Can Knyaz finish him?

It looks like Leon Adams has been cut.
Adams looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Knyaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Knyaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Adams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knyaz stands and steps away. Adams gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Adams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adams lands with a nice combination. Knyaz backs away looking to recover.
Knyaz goes for a small jab and connects. Now Knyaz goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Adams stumbles back but Knyaz runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Adams to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Adams will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
