Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tito Hyde (ranked 544 p4p, 89 weight class) and Tim Pierno (ranked 394 p4p, 63 weight class). Pierno has chosen Sick Puppies - You're Going Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hyde slips a straight right by Pierno.

and Pierno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pierno pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pierno defending well as Hyde loads up on a big left hand.

Hyde throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pierno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As Pierno backs away, Hyde returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Hyde will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pierno throws a shot from downtown. Hyde moves away and avoids it.

and Pierno counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hyde bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tito Hyde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierno avoids the head kick by Hyde.
Pierno has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hyde lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pierno has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pierno and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hyde tries to land a front kick but Pierno steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A little jabbing left from Pierno on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hyde scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hyde pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pierno is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hyde with a body shot.
Pierno uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hyde.
Sloppy strikes from Pierno. Those never looked like landing.
Pierno moves out of range as Hyde throws a body kick.
A nice side step and Pierno releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Pierno looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Hyde misses with a head kick.
A swing and a miss from Pierno.

Hyde throws an off balance right hand
and Hyde takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hyde tries to work over Pierno's front leg with a kick but Pierno checks it.
Both fighters circling a little - Hyde finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Hyde slips a jab and a cross from Pierno.
Hyde throws a lazy right hand but Pierno sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pierno walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hyde.

enabling Pierno to counter with a crisp jab.
Hyde tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pierno paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pierno lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pierno wants to control but Hyde is keeping him busy.

Hyde seems to have got his legs back now.
Hyde is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pierno asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Pierno wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hyde, who protects the arm well.
Hyde manages to get back to half guard.
Hyde tries to kick Pierno off but Pierno keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Pierno seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hyde is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
