Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raymundo Dale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saulo De Tarso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saulo De Tarso will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale tries to keep at a distance but De Tarso has taken the fight into the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
De Tarso lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Raymundo Dale has been cut.
Dale drops to a knee looking for a takedown but De Tarso gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A frustrated look appears on De Tarso's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Dale struggles to land a body shot inside as De Tarso controls his hands.
Dale could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Tarso is trying to break the clinch but Dale has him pressed against the cage.
De Tarso lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Dale is trying to pull guard but De Tarso turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Dale tries to score a body lock takedown but De Tarso shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dale won't let De Tarso get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Dale cracks De Tarso with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
De Tarso is desperately trying to improve his position but Dale has a good base and remains in mount.
Dale has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dale is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, De Tarso has managed to escape the submission attempt.
De Tarso is desperately trying to improve his position but Dale has a good base and remains in mount.

Dale lands a big shot there that rocks De Tarso but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
We've been informed that De Tarso has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
