PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Browne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Browne has chosen Knock You Out as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller wants to clinch up but Browne keeps it at a distance.
It seemed like Browne was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Muller fails in his attempt to clinch.

Muller clinches up with Browne and pushes him back against the cage.
Browne tries to circle away but Muller has him pinned against the cage.
Browne wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Knees to the body from Muller.
Muller gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Travis Browne has been cut.
Browne wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Muller lands an elbow that stopped Browne in his tracks for a moment.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Muller takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Browne wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Muller has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A frustrated look appears on Browne's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Muller lands a hook that snaps the head of Browne backwards.
Muller prevents Browne from breaking the clinch.
Muller scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Browne told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Browne wants to break free but Muller has control.

That has opened up Travis Browne's cut even more.
Muller unloads a knee to the mid-section. Browne lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Browne looks winded!
A nice glancing elbow lands by Muller.

Muller lands a vicious elbow to the side of Browne's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Muller tries to finish him with strikes but Browne still seems able to defend himself so Muller steps back and lets Browne get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Browne is rocked!

Travis Browne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Travis Browne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Nicolas Muller thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
