Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pops Maellard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Corll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corll has chosen South Texas Death Ride as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maellard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Corll moves away.
Corll throws a body punch but Maellard moves out of range.
Maellard throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Corll feints the counter takedown.

Corll shoots in and bounces Maellard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Maellard manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Maellard throws a chopping leg kick but Corll manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Corll. That's going to slow Maellard down.
Maellard explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Maellard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Maellard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Corll has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Corll and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Corll or perhaps it was just good defense by Maellard, which made it look bad.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Corll throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maellard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
