The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasizade leaves Jong Un with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jong Un is looking to clinch but Rasizade is avoiding it.
Jong Un tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rasizade sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jong Un somewhat.
Rasizade is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Rasizade lands with a hook. Jong Un tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jong Un moves to clinch but Rasizade breaks away
and Rasizade counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jong Un won't be happy with that.
Jong Un's coaches at Cozad MMA Los Angeles have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jong Un is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rasizade's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rasizade's back!
Jong Un has the hooks in. Rasizade is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Jong Un passes his arm under Rasizade's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Rasizade taps!
