PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Potapenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Starker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starker has chosen Under Milk Wood as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Alexey Potapenko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexey Potapenko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexey Potapenko!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paul Starker!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potapenko avoids the body shot from Starker.
Potapenko tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Starker manages to circle out of the way.

Potapenko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Starker to the mat! Starker manages to get full guard.
Starker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potapenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As Starker looks to move away, Potapenko throws a big counter combo but Starker just gets out of the way.
