The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichisake shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mauck as he jumps to the side.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mauck or perhaps it was just good defense by Ichisake, which made it look bad.

Mauck throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ichisake tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mauck is in Ichisake's guard.

Mauck throws a right hand that Ichisake ducks under and follows up with a left that Ichisake also avoids with ease.

Ichisake has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mauck can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ichisake has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
