Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wu Fei Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Name Less (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fei Chung kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is God of Gamblers. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Less looks to land a left hand but Fei Chung moved out of range nicely.
Some bone on bone action there as Fei Chung checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Fei Chung swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Less throws a nice inside leg kick.
Less throws out a leg kick but Fei Chung moves out of range and Less only half commits.
Fei Chung fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Less looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fei Chung shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Fei Chung backing away here, and Less unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Less throws a solid leg kick but Fei Chung takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Less.

Fei Chung was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Less misses with a head kick.
It looked like Fei Chung wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Less fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fei Chung displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Less throws out the jab.

Fei Chung shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Less tried to score with a low kick but Fei Chung checks it.

Less lands a jab to Fei Chung's midsection.
Less throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Less swings away with a leg kick that misses.
We've been hearing reports that Fei Chung has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fei Chung takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Less throws a leg kick that is checked
and Fei Chung makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Less feints and then cracks Fei Chung's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fei Chung down.
Fei Chung misses with a looping right.
A little jabbing left from Less on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Less connects with an inside leg kick.
Less throws a chopping leg kick but Fei Chung manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Less scoring well with a low kick there.
Less lands a nice shot that snaps Fei Chung's head back.
Less just misses with a punch to the body.
Fei Chung throws a half hearted mid kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fei Chung.
Fei Chung avoids a kick to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fei Chung ducks right into an uppercut from Less.
Less connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Less tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fei Chung was well out of range. Poor timing from Less.
Less has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Less is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fei Chung.
Fei Chung tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Less ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Less misses with the combination.

and Fei Chung decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Less's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fei Chung forces his way into half guard.

Less is defending against the submission attempts here by Fei Chung.

Less is staying active underneath Fei Chung, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fei Chung is taking a breather. Less says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fei Chung moves nicely into side control.
Fei Chung is staying tight to Less's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Less is looking for a sweep.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fei Chung is working to tighten his grip on Less's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Less has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fei Chung is really squeezing tight and eventually Less passes out! Fei Chung breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Wu Fei Chung!
A relieved looking Wu Fei Chung thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
