PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Campion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All Summer Long kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gregory Campion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddy Brandon!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Brandon.
Brandon throws a good cross that connects.
Campion slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brandon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Campion lands with a hook. Brandon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Brandon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Campion throws a jab but it's blocked by Brandon.
Campion swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brandon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Brandon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brandon slips a jab and a cross from Campion.
Brandon wants to counter the offense by Campion and move into the clinch position.
Brandon tries to clinch up but Campion circles away and keeps his distance.
Campion waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brandon.
Campion takes a swing at Brandon's ribcage but misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brandon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Campion.
Brandon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Donk. Campion catches Brandon right on the button with a cross.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Campion lands a left and a right that send Brandon crashing to the mat, dazed. Campion thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Brandon is rocked!
Brandon gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Campion points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Brandon wakes up just in time to hear Campion thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gregory Campion!
Gregory Campion was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
