With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marus Ray!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clements throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ray shoots in for a double leg but Clements sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clements misses with a body shot.
Ray wants to counter the offense by Clements and move into the clinch position.

Clements closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Clements lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clements is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ray keeping moving, preventing Clements from controlling successfully.
Clements postures up and lands a big shot to Ray's brow.

Ray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ray throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clements works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Ray seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Clements does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ray makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Clements wants to sweep but no luck.

Ray drops back, looking for a kneebar! Clements looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Clements looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Clements!

Ray tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ray sneaks back into half guard.
Clements has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Clements scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clements in particular looking to stall.
Ray is trying to maintain the position but Clements is very close to passing his half guard.
Ray is not content to let Clements control the position.
Ray on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Clements lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Ray is trying to control but Clements passes into side control!
Clements grinds an elbow into Ray's temple.
Ray gets back to half guard.
Ray has hold of Clements's hands but Clements slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ray is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Clements is looking for a kimura but Ray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clements to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clements lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Marus Ray has been cut.
Clements fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ray looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donk. Clements catches Ray right on the button with a cross.
Nice uppercut lands for Clements. That snapped Ray's head back.
Clements circles away from the clinch attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ray.
Ray takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Clements swings for the body but Ray moves out of range.
Ray throws a chopping leg kick but Clements manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A punch combination from Clements misses.
Ray with the counter takedown but Clements avoids it easily.

Clements forces Ray back against the cage and clinches.
A shot in the inside from Clements.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ray has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Clements is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Clements manages to break the clinch.
Ray shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clements but Clements pushes him off and we're back to square one.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Ray.
Jamaal Clements has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marus Ray.
Ray swings for the body but Clements moves out of range.
A punch combination from Ray misses.
Ray tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clements sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ray somewhat.
Clements uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ray.
Clements is looking to counter punch.
Ray fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
As Ray backs away, Clements returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Clements defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ray.
Ray misses with an uppercut
and Clements counters with a nice uppercut.
Ray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Clements pinned against the cage. Clements gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clements drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Ray right on the button. Ray goes down! Clements follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Clements gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamaal Clements!
Jamaal Clements very nearly forgot to thank House of Valor amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
In defeat, Marus Ray stepped up to the mic, saying 'It's my way or the highway!'.
