The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Salazar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Salazar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Salazar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Salazar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Salazar is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Salazar.
Salazar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jackson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jackson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Salazar is aware though and is defending well.

Salazar seems to be working for a kimura but Jackson defends the submission attempt.

Jackson tries to roll over but Salazar keeps him under control.
Jackson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Salazar. Oh but Jackson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Salazar goes limp - he's gone! Jackson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
